Ukraine Head Coach Comments on Iceland Match


Ukraine national football team head coach Serhiy Rebrov shared his thoughts ahead of the FIFA World Cup 2026 qualifying match against Iceland. The game is scheduled to take place on November 16, starting at 8:00 PM Moscow time.

"I believe we need to maintain what we achieved in Iceland. Quick attacks in the first half and ball recovery efforts in the second half brought us results.

However, this time we need to play even more aggressively," said Rebrov in an interview with sport.ua. In the previous match, Ukraine secured a 5-3 victory.

Currently, both teams have 7 points, and Iceland still has an opportunity to advance to the playoff stage.
