Four of our representatives competed in the decisive stage of the World Boxing Cup, which is being held in the capital of India, New Delhi. This final stage of the competition began with a high level of competition, and each fight was full of struggle.
The competition has begun: Nigina entered the first ring
Nigina Uktamova, competing in the 54 kg weight category, stepped into the ring against the host of the tournament, the talented Indian boxer Preeti. Unfortunately, despite all the efforts of our team's skilled boxer, he lost the opportunity according to the judges' assessment with a score of 0:5. Nevertheless, Nigina's determination and character in the fight are praiseworthy.
Aziza Zakirova advanced to the semi-finals
Aziza Zakirova, competing in the 70 kg weight category, demonstrated one of the strongest performances of the day. He secured a convincing 5-0 victory, leaving no chance for Nigerian athlete Mbata Patricia. With this result, Aziza advanced to the semifinals of the competition and gave our country another chance to win a medal.
Adhamjon Muhiddinov in the winning line
Adhamjon Mukhiddinov, who entered the ring in the 65 kg weight category, played very confidently against the representative of South Korea, Jang Dongwan. He didn't let go of the initiative during the fight and won with a clear advantage of 5:0. His efforts were also highly appreciated by the coaches.
Halimjon Mamasoliyev spoke in the super heavyweight category
Halimjon Mamasoliyev, competing in the +90 kg weight category, also delighted the fans. He fought very confidently against Austrian Ahmed Haagga, defeating the opponent 5-0. Halimjon's pressure in the ring and his cunning tactical approach were his biggest advantages.
