The Round of 16 matches of the World Junior Championships, which are underway in Qatar, have reached their peak. In this decisive stage, the Uzbekistan U-17 national team, led by Islam Ismailov, played an important match against the youth of Italy. Unfortunately, the game ended 3-1 in favor of the Italians, and our guys withdrew from the competition at this stage.
The match started very fiercely and at a high tempo. Italy sought to gain an advantage with quick attacks, and this effort paid off - Campaniaello scored the first goal in the 19th minute. The Uzbek team did not stop, increased activity in the second half, and in the 56th minute, Murodov equalized the score with an excellent shot.
However, at the end of the match, the Italians regained the advantage. By the 68th minute, Campanigello scored again, scoring a brace. Just two minutes later, Idrisa's shot made the score even bigger.
In the final minutes, Azizbek Erimbetov only managed to reduce the score.
In the final minutes of the match, Aliyev was sent off, which further reduced the team's chances of changing the situation.
