Haikin ready to play for Norway national team

Bodø/Glimt goalkeeper Nikita Khaikin shared his thoughts on the possibility of participating in the 2026 FIFA World Cup as part of Norway's national team. "If the national team believes I can contribute, that would be great.

Currently, Norway has a very strong squad composed of high-quality players. It would be a great honor for me," Khaikin said in an interview with NRK.

For reference, Norway's national team secured the first position in their group during the 2026 World Cup qualification stage, gathering a maximum of 24 points. The group also included Italy, Israel, Estonia, and Moldova, ranking behind Norway.
