After officially parting ways with "Andijan" club, football fans were seriously interested in what direction Maxim Shatskikh's future career might turn. According to the information received, the former coach's next possible destination could be the Kyrgyz Republic.
It is reported that the club "Asia," making its debut in the Kyrgyz top league this season, has shown serious interest in the experienced specialist. This was reported by sports journalist Tengelbes Musayev on his Telegram channel. He emphasized that preliminary discussions have already begun between the club management and Shatskikh's side, and negotiations are currently ongoing.
Shatskikh's performance at Andijan has sparked various discussions among fans, both statistically and from a playful perspective. As head coach, he played a total of 24 matches in all competitions. In 5 of them, the team won, in 9 matches, a draw was recorded, and 10 matches ended in defeat.
Especially since the middle of the season, the team's results have not been promising at the expected level. This was cited as one of the main factors that led to the coach's departure. Now an experienced specialist can test themselves in a new environment, within a new project.
Although "Asia" has taken a new step into the top league, the club's ambitions are high. They want to bring stability, tactical thoroughness, and competitiveness to the team through an experienced coach. Therefore, Shatskikh's candidacy is considered a very suitable option for them.
So far, the negotiations between the two sides have not been officially completed. However, if the agreement yields a positive outcome, Maksim Shatskikh could continue his coaching career in the new country. Fans are watching his next journey with interest.
