Arshavin Comments on Advocaat's Success with Curacao

The Curaçao national football team has qualified for the 2026 FIFA World Cup under the guidance of head coach Dick Advocaat. Former Russian footballer Andrey Arshavin commented on this achievement and congratulated Advocaat.

"I can only congratulate him! He has once again proven his level, even though he had planned to end his coaching career many times.

He has created a celebration for the entire country, and we will continue to follow his future achievements," said Arshavin in an interview with "Championat." It is worth noting that Dick Advocaat previously coached Zenit St. Petersburg and the Russian national team.

In 2008, under his leadership, Zenit won the UEFA Cup and the UEFA Super Cup. The 2026 FIFA World Cup will be hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
