With the November days of FIFA behind us, another important news has been announced in world football - the next global ranking of national teams has been released. In the new list, the Uzbekistan national team recorded a truly significant change and rose five positions to 50th place. In the previous assessment, our team ranked 55th.
This progress is not accidental. A convincing victory against Egypt, a hard-fought match against Iran, and an advantage in the penalty shootout - all combined contributed 9.69 points to our team's tally. Currently, our national team has a total of 1462.03 points, and this indicator has taken us to a new stage in Asian football.
According to the new ranking, Uzbekistan surpassed Qatar and became the fifth strongest national team on the continent. We have only Japan, Iran, South Korea, and Australia ahead of us - and this, in turn, shows how correct the path our national team is taking.
Looking at FIFA's overall list, the top four remain unchanged: Spain is in first place, followed by Argentina, France, and England. Brazil moved up two positions and rose back to fifth place.
Such an increase in the rating is not only good news for fans, but also a vivid proof that the team's fighting spirit, hard work, and planned work are yielding results. The goals ahead are even higher - the path is just beginning to be interesting for the national team.
