McTominay Breaks Ronaldo’s Record

Scott McTominay, midfielder for Italy's Napoli club, scored an extraordinary goal during a match against Denmark. This goal will not only be remembered in his homeland, Scotland, but across the entire football world for a long time.

McTominay performed an acrobatic leap, striking the ball with a stunning overhead kick. The goal gained attention not only for its spectacular nature but also for setting a new record.

Remarkably, McTominay's foot made contact with the ball at a height of 253 centimeters. This surpassed the previous record by 15 centimeters.

The previous record was held by Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo. In April 2018, Ronaldo jumped to a height of 238 centimeters and scored with a header.

It is worth mentioning that the Scotland national team has qualified for the World Cup final stage for the first time since the early 21st century.
