The 11th round of the German Championship has commenced. On Friday, Mainz hosted Hoffenheim at home but failed to secure a victory against the opponent.
With three minutes remaining in the match, Mainz had to continue the game with ten players on each side. Dominik Kohr received a direct red card, leaving the field without a prior yellow card warning.
This marked Dominik Kohr's ninth red card during his career in the top-tier German football league. Thus, he set a new record in the Bundesliga.
The previous record of eight red cards was shared by Luiz Gustavo and Jens Nowotny. Read “Zamin” on Telegram!
