Napoli's sporting director Giovanni Manna addressed rumors concerning head coach Antonio Conte's potential resignation. On Saturday, Napoli defeated Atalanta 3-1 on their home ground.
Before the match, rumors began circulating in the media about disagreements between the coach, the club's management, and the team's players. These speculations were attributed to Conte’s critical comments about the squad's composition and certain players' attitudes toward their work.
"Some things are simply turned into sensationalism, but this is normal. There was even talk about the coach resigning. However, Conte was merely providing a signal with the aim of improving the team's level, and I do not see anything wrong with that.
We have always stood united. We share common values, and we have demonstrated this during both the previous and the current season.
Everything is fine," Manna said in an interview with Sky Sport.
On Tuesday, November 25, Napoli will face Qarabag in a Champions League match. Read “Zamin” on Telegram! Ctrl
