Bayern Munich head coach Vincent Kompany shared his thoughts on Arsenal's strength in set-pieces ahead of their Champions League match. The Gunners will host Bayern at their home ground on Wednesday.
The coach was asked if there were concerns about the team conceding two goals from set-pieces in their last two matches against Freiburg and Union. "I am calm," Kompany stated.
"The goals we conceded were due to collective mistakes. We should not be afraid – we need to show character and defend bravely.
Our performance in set-pieces is not bad either – we scored a goal from a corner in today's match. We need to stay composed and keep doing our job.
I am confident that we will manage," Kompany said. Bayern secured an impressive 6–2 victory over Freiburg on Saturday.
