Tottenham head coach Thomas Frank shared his thoughts after the 1-4 defeat against Arsenal in the North London Derby held on Saturday. For Arsenal, Eberechi Eze scored a hat-trick, while Leandro Trossard added another goal.
Tottenham's only consolation goal was scored by Richarlison. Interestingly, Spurs managed just three shots throughout the entire match.
"It was a very tough night, and our performance was disappointing. We must apologize to our fans for such a result.
I believed we could compete equally with Arsenal, but that did not happen. Now, we need to thoroughly analyze the situation and identify what needs to be changed.
We were not aggressive enough and lost the battles on the pitch. I take full responsibility for this defeat.
A tactical setup does not work if you lose all your duels. This was the most painful defeat of the season, but we must learn from it," Frank told the BBC during an interview.
