Former famous footballer Aleksandr Mostovoy shared his opinion regarding Matvey Safonov's limited playing opportunities at Paris Saint-Germain (PSG). According to the expert, the Russian goalkeeper has secured several major trophies during his one year with the Parisian club.

This, according to Mostovoy, indicates that Safonov's decision to move to France was the right one. "Many are happy to win trophies.

However, Matvey is at a good age, and he needs to play in any case. If he stays and only continues to collect trophies, I won't criticize him," Mostovoy said in an interview with Legalbet.
