The city of Abu Dhabi, the United Arab Emirates, hosted the World Kickboxing Championships among adults from November 21st to 30th. The national team of Uzbekistan also worthily participated in this competition, the prestige of which is growing every year, courageously defended the honor of the country and is returning to the Motherland with a set of national medals.
At the World Championship, our athletes achieved the following results:
- 1 gold medal
- 3 silver medals
- 4 bronze medals
This indicator demonstrated not only the high potential of our national team, but also the effectiveness of the attention and conditions provided to kickboxing in our country.
Gold medalist
• Hasankhon Baratov - Full contact, senior, +91 kg
Such success in the super heavyweight category is even more significant because it was achieved in one of the most competitive areas of the competition.
Silver medalists
• Javlon Yuldashev - Lou Kick, 54 kg.
• Nodirbek Khayriddinov - Kick Light, 74 kg.
• Aidos Akhmedov - Full contact, 57 kg
All three athletes fought bravely until the final and earned the recognition of fans for not yielding to their opponents easily.
Bronze medalists
• Fahriddin Eminov - Full contact, 67 kg
• Saidolimjon Khasanov - K-1, 63.5 kg
• Arseniy Rakhmonov - K-1, 57 kg.
Abrorbek Musayev - Lou Kick, 81 kg.
These young men also made their mark among the world's strongest opponents and ascended the honorary podium.
According to the Uzbekistan Kickboxing Association, these results are the result of the team's consistent growth, high preparedness, and dedication. This success, achieved thanks to the athletes' hard work throughout the season, a clear plan by the coaching staff, and continuous training, was met with great satisfaction by the sports community.
Our kickboxers once again demonstrated to the world the strength, willpower, and potential of Uzbekistan's sport.
