Okan Buruk: Missed Victory Had an Impact

Turkey's "Galatasaray" head coach Okan Buruk shared his thoughts on the upcoming match against "Samsunspor." The 15th round match of the national championship is set to begin on December 5 at 8:00 PM Moscow time.

"We fought well in the derby [against "Fenerbahce," 1-1], but the victory that slipped away in the final minutes affected the morale of our team. Nevertheless, we are leading the championship.

We must never take the game against "Samsunspor" lightly. This match will be just as challenging as a derby," Buruk said at the pre-match press conference.

"After the game against "Samsunspor," we will play our most important match next week in the Champions League against "Monaco." To achieve our goals in both the league and European competitions, it is crucial to secure the necessary results in these games.

However, our full focus is currently on "Samsunspor," stated Buruk, as quoted by Milliyet. "Galatasaray" currently leads the standings with 33 points.
