Former Real Madrid star Sergio Ramos has confirmed the end of his collaboration with the Mexican club Monterrey and expressed regret at parting ways with the team following a defeat. His team lost 3-2 to Toluca, missing their chance at the championship.
Ramos said: "This was my last game for Monterrey; I had mentioned this before. I am saddened to say goodbye with a defeat," A Bola quoted the footballer as saying.
Nonetheless, Ramos thanked the club's management and fans, wishing them great success in the future.
