Roma suffered a crushing defeat against Cagliari

In the 14th round of Serie A, Roma played an important match in Sardinia, but the match didn't go as expected for the Romans. Pelligrini's team lost one player in the 52nd minute and ultimately couldn't withstand the opponent's pressure.
In the first half, both teams tried to find opportunities, but there was a deficit of dangerous situations. With the start of the second half, the situation worsened for Roma - Zeki Celik was sent off for a foul, and the Romans continued the game in deficit.
After this, Cagliari became more active, quick attacks were launched from the wings, and in the 82nd minute, Gaetano opened the scoring with a goal. Roma tried their best to equalize in the remaining minutes, but couldn't find a way against Cagliari, whose defense had played reliably several times.
With this, the Romans recorded their second consecutive defeat and remained in 4th place in the tournament table with 27 points. Cagliari, after a successful performance, moved up to 14th place with 14 points.
