FIFA Issues Statement on Allowing Russian Youth Teams

FIFA has issued a statement regarding the participation of Russian youth and junior national teams in international tournaments. Earlier, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) lifted all restrictions previously imposed on Russian young athletes.

Now, they are allowed to compete in all sports and disciplines under the national flag and anthem. These recommendations also apply to team sports representatives.

FIFA's press service stated, "We are carefully reviewing this matter and will provide further updates if additional information becomes available." Additionally, the IOC has granted permission for international competitions to be hosted in Belarus.
