Simeone Rises to Second Place for Most Wins in La Liga History

Atletico Madrid delighted its fans on Saturday with a 2-1 victory over Valencia. The match, led by head coach Diego Simeone, was held on their home ground.

As reported by journalist Pedro Martin on social media, Simeone has risen to second place in La Liga's history for the most wins by a coach. He surpassed Victor Muñoz and has now secured 324 wins to his name.

The coach with the most wins in La Liga remains Luis Aragonés, who claimed 344 victories. Unfortunately, Aragonés passed away in 2014.

It should also be noted that Atletico Madrid has achieved eight consecutive home victories. Diego Simeone took charge of the team in December 2011.
