Guardiola Breaks Ferguson's Premier League Record

Guardiola surpasses Ferguson's record in the EPL

In the 16th round of the English Premier League, Manchester City defeated Crystal Palace 3-0 in an away game. This result not only brought another three points but also marked a historic milestone for Pep Guardiola.

With this victory, Guardiola's Manchester City recorded their 150th match in the EPL in which they scored three or more goals to secure a win. Interestingly, it took Guardiola just 358 games to achieve this milestone.

According to Manchester City's official website, Pep thus surpassed the record set by legendary English football figure Sir Alex Ferguson. The former Manchester United manager participated in 522 Premier League games, with his team winning 149 of those by scoring three or more goals.

Guardiola not only matched this achievement in a significantly shorter period but also managed to surpass it. Since taking charge of Manchester City in 2016, he has transformed the club into a dominant force in English football.

Under the Spanish manager's leadership, City have claimed the EPL title six times, set numerous records, and consistently displayed an attacking and entertaining style of play. Experts believe Guardiola's team could achieve many more historic results in the future.
