Ian Rush discharged from Chester hospital

It was previously reported that 64-year-old Liverpool legend Ian Rush had been admitted to the intensive care unit and placed on a ventilator. According to *The Guardian*, he has now been discharged from the hospital in Chester.

The former Welsh forward has returned home to his family and is preparing to celebrate Christmas with his loved ones. Liverpool's press service expressed gratitude to the medical staff who treated Rush: “Thank you for providing quality care to our club legend and special ambassador,” the statement read.
