Inter Miami forward Lionel Messi reportedly wants Atletico Madrid midfielder Koke to join the team. Just a few days ago, Koke played his 500th match for the “Colchoneros.”

According to journalist Ekrem Konur, Messi sees Koke as a potential replacement for Sergio Busquets, who retired from professional football after the MLS Cup final. However, Koke’s transfer could be postponed until the summer, as his contract with Atletico Madrid will expire at that time.

In that case, Inter Miami could sign the 33-year-old midfielder on a free transfer. This season, Koke has played in 22 matches across all competitions, scoring one goal and providing two assists.
