Manchester City head coach Pep Guardiola shared his thoughts on the current condition of his team, their playing quality, and upcoming challenges. The Spanish coach particularly emphasized the importance of never underestimating the opponent. According to him, although West Ham's recent results may not seem ideal, the team has shown respectable performances against strong opponents. This, Guardiola noted, highlights the presence of high-quality players within their squad.
Guardiola also spoke candidly about his own team. He stated that Manchester City’s overall results are not bad but acknowledged that certain aspects still need improvement. The coach pointed out that the team possesses strong mentality and self-confidence but admitted they are not yet fully competing at the level required for a championship victory.
