
Former “Spartak” midfielder Aleksandr Mostovoy has expressed his readiness to return to the Russian national football team amid ongoing discussions about the team’s top scorer. “If needed, I am ready — call me to the Russian national team.
I am confident I’ll score two goals against Grenada or Brunei. I’ll be in all the news and headlines,” Rusfootball quoted Mostovoy as saying.
Mostovoy played for the Russian national team from 1992 to 2004. He appeared in 50 matches, scoring 10 goals and providing 10 assists.
