Endrick Announces Selection of Number 9 Jersey at Lyon

Forward Endrick will spend the second half of the 2025/2026 season at Lyon. On Tuesday, the French club announced that they had acquired Endrick on a paid loan from Real Madrid for €1 million. Endrick has also chosen his jersey number at Lyon. The club's press service released a photo of the Brazilian footballer holding a jersey with the number 9. Endrick joined Lyon to secure consistent playing time. In the first half of the season, the 19-year-old Brazilian only appeared in three matches for Real Madrid. In their next match in the French league, Lyon will face Monaco away on January 3. Currently, "Les Gones" are in fifth place in the Ligue 1 standings.
