According to the source, the 19-year-old American footballer has been loaned to Hoffenheim until the end of the season for €1.5 million. Hoffenheim also have an option to buy Campbell outright for €10 million.
This season, he has made just one appearance for Borussia’s first team — playing 16 minutes against Heidenheim in Matchday 3 of the Bundesliga. For the reserve side, Campbell featured twice and recorded two assists.
Transfermarkt values the player’s market worth at €5 million.
