Liverpool head coach Arne Slot shared his thoughts ahead of the Premier League Round 20 clash against Fulham. The match kicks off on January 4 at 20:00 (Tashkent time). This was reported by euro-football.rureports.
Slot noted that the London side will look to play attacking football and may spend plenty of time in possession. The coach said this match should be more open than the previous one and added that it will be a tough test due to the latest away result.
The specialist pointed out that over the last 7–8 matches his team have hardly given opponents any chances. However, he also admitted that despite enjoying a lot of possession, it is not always easy for Liverpool to create dangerous moments in front of the opponent’s goal.
Slot also added that the team’s current position is logically fair, since there has been a constant battle in all 19 matches.
For now, Liverpool are fourth with 33 points, while Fulham sit 12th with 27 points.
