Matchday 17 of the German league was fast-paced and full of surprises for fans. The highlight of the round was leaders Bayern’s latest comeback win away from home.
Despite getting into trouble in the first half at Cologne, the Munich side looked like a completely different team after the break. Trailing on the scoreboard, Bayern used their experience and “class” to turn the game in their favor. The 3–1 win brought not only another three points, but also restored an 11-point gap over their closest chasers, Borussia Dortmund. In short, in the title race Bayern are still keeping their rivals at an “out-of-sight distance.”

But the brightest show of the matchday featured Hoffenheim. Against Borussia M, Kramaric became the true star. He struck a quick hat-trick, tearing the opposition defense apart. The emphatic 5–1 win lifted Hoffenheim further up the table.
