AFC U-23 Asian Cup: Vietnam beat South Korea to claim bronze

At the AFC U-23 Asian Cup hosted by Saudi Arabia, the third-place match turned into a real thriller. Vietnam and South Korea fought to the very end with a “no backing down” mindset for the bronze medal.
Regulation time ended 2–2. The scoring sequence tested fans’ nerves too: Vietnam opened the scoring in the 30th minute, then goals poured in after the break — South Korea struck in the 69th and 90+7th minutes, while Vietnam went ahead again in the 71st and managed to take the game to penalties.
The penalty shootout delivered the climax of the nerve battle: 7–6! One kick — one hope, one mistake — the emotion of the whole tournament. In the end, Vietnam prevailed and finished the Asian Cup with the bronze medal.
