The GAMMA Fighting international K-1 tournament took place in Tbilisi, Georgia, on January 24th. Our compatriot Samandar Enibayev competed in the 70 kg weight category and reached the final, where he fought for the championship belt against the host country's representative, Gigi Bridze (Beridze).
We needed an "iron nerve" in the final
The match was fierce from the first seconds: neither side backed down, giving it their all for victory. The most difficult moment came after the 1st round - Enibaev's hand was injured, and it was even reported that signs of a fracture appeared.
Nevertheless, Samandar didn't stop. Despite the pain, he continued to fight until the end of the 5th round - and most importantly, he won the championship by points.
Why do fans also like this victory?
It's not just about medals or belts. Such fights reveal the athlete's character: the arm hurts, the body says "stop," but you still stand until the end. Enibayev came out with exactly that spirit - that's why this victory is not a "simple result," but inspiration for the fan.
In short, Samandar Enibaev showed the patience and determination befitting a true champion in Tbilisi. Now the fans expect one thing: to shine even more in a healthy form in the next tournament.
