Barcelona presidential candidate Victor Font has firmly stated that the team's head coach, Hansi Flick, believes his sporting concept will convince him. According to him, the club will soon present a new sports project to the public, and this plan will ensure what Flick is looking for - stability.
Font believes that while Flick is satisfied with the current conditions, he will be even more pleased with the proposed systematic plan. Because here it's not just about the result - it's about how decisions are made at the club, how development is built.
By "stability," the candidate primarily means abandoning improvisation and haste. That is, today you release one defender to reduce the salary fund, and after several months, seeing a "hole" in the defense, there's no need to urgently invite another player to close it. Font illustrated this idea with an example: saying goodbye to Inigo Martinez to ease the salary burden, and then being forced to call Joao Cancelo when the problem arose - this is the classic form of "improvisation."
In short, Font's claim is as follows: the most important thing for Flick is a pre-calculated and logically constructed project, in which a "new script" is not written every day. For fans, these words simply mean one thing: living with a normal plan, not "patching while crying."
