One of the new stars of Saudi Arabia's Al-Hilal, Karim Benzema, suffered an unpleasant condition during a team training session. According to the club's press service, the French striker has suffered a thigh muscle injury.
Therefore, Benzema's appearance in the upcoming match against Al-Taavun is currently in serious doubt. The player will undergo a medical examination in the near future, after which the extent of the injury and the recovery period will be clarified.
As a reminder, Karim Benzema moved from Al-Ittihad to Al-Hilal during the winter transfer window. The 38-year-old striker managed to prove effective in his new team in a short time: he played in three matches, scored three goals, and provided one assist.
