Adidas has unveiled new special edition boots for the young Spanish talent and Barcelona forward, Lamine Yamal. Named 'Heartbreaker', this model was developed in collaboration with the player himself and is dedicated to the traditional Catalan holiday, 'Dia de Sant Jordi'. Reports goal.com.
This holiday is celebrated annually on April 23rd and symbolizes romance and literature. The boot design features a blooming rose on a white background. The heel displays the 'Football's Heartbreaker' logo, referencing Yamal's agile playing style that confuses opposing defenders.
Despite being only 18, Yamal has already become one of Adidas' most influential ambassadors. These are his third signature boots. Technically, the new F50 models are equipped with 'Fibretouch' and 'Sprintweb' technologies, providing maximum comfort for high-speed ball handling.
The young star, who debuted the boots in a Spanish Cup match against Atletico Madrid, managed to record an assist. Although Barcelona lost the match, Yamal hopes to achieve even brighter results in future games with his new gear.
