Dinamo secured a 2-1 victory over Bunyodkor in the second round of the Super League, returning home with three points. Following the match, the visitors' head coach, Vadim Abramov, participated in a press conference, openly discussing the two different halves, substitutions, the problem of sales, and the team's salary.
"It could have been done in the first half"
According to Abramov, Dinamo started the match very well. Luck also helped, and they scored twice in the first half. In his opinion, based on the opportunities, the game could have been "closed" in the first half.
But in the second half, the situation reversed. After conceding the goal, the game became tense, nerves were strained, and, in the coach's words, a real "validol game" began. Despite this, Dinamo maintained the score and secured the victory.
He also wished Bunyodkor good luck in the upcoming matches and said that his team must prepare better for the next matches. Because if the game in the second half is repeated, the team could definitely get into trouble.
"The changes in the second half are my mistake"
When journalists asked what changed in the second half, Abramov spoke not about the fact that the opponent took the initiative, but specifically about the decisions in his team. He openly admitted that the substitutions and changes in game management were unsuccessful.
"It's my fault, we couldn't find any changes," the coach said. According to him, the team's game should have been different with the substitute players, but problems increased when the game was disrupted in the center.
The realization is becoming a "pain point"
Abramov also touched upon the first round, saying that the team started well in that game too, even scored a goal, but then a penalty came out of nowhere, and soon they conceded the second goal from a set piece. After that, rushed actions increased, and they couldn't score due to incorrect decisions.
He emphasized that one of Dinamo's main problems is still converting chances into goals, that is, realizing them. There were a number of opportunities in the first half of today's game, but the coach didn't hide the fact that this aspect didn't work fully.
At the same time, he noted that the first two matches of the season are always unexpected, and the players are not yet in their ideal form. It was said that this situation is clearly visible on the field.
Why did Amonov change and why was there a "protest"?
At the beginning of the second half, when asked about the reason for Azizbek Amonov's substitution, Abramov gave a short answer: the player was slightly injured.
He also explained that when it was said that Amonov entered the game with great enthusiasm, perhaps because he previously played for "Bunyodkor," the coach objected several times on the sidelines. In his opinion, Amonov over-held the ball where it was necessary to pass in some episodes.
At the same time, Abramov assessed Amonov as a good player, a talent, and said that if he continues to score such goals in every game, it will only be beneficial for the team. "We have high hopes for him," he said.
The most difficult issue is salaries
The most heated discussion at the conference centered around the issue of players not receiving salaries for several months. Journalists asked how to inspire the team in these conditions, everyone has a family.
Abramov did not deny this. According to him, the salary has not been paid for four months, which is a serious situation. The coach stated that the players have families, that he understands this very well, and emphasized that the management needs to resolve the issue. He concluded with the words "We hope."
In conclusion, "Dinamo" won, but the coach's words clearly showed "two different times" and internal problems in the game. Abramov, on the one hand, is happy to have saved the victory, and on the other hand, he also pointed out that if the painful points in the second half, such as the game, realization, and salary issues, are not resolved quickly, the "validol" may increase again in the upcoming rounds.
