The English expert gave Khusanov a "hot" rating: a dream for coaches...

In the Round of 16 of the FA Cup, Manchester City defeated Newcastle away to advance to the next round. In this match, our compatriot Abdukodir Khusanov played in the starting lineup for the full 90 minutes and once again became the center of attention with his reliable defensive play.
After the meeting, English specialists and experts began to express positive opinions about Khusanov. In particular, former footballer Roy Keane described the Uzbek defender very briefly, but very accurately:
"Khusanov is a dream for coaches. He has no arrogance, he doesn't play for the camera."
There's a deeper meaning behind this statement: a strict and demanding expert like Roy Keane wouldn't evaluate everyone this "hotly." According to him, Khusanov does not show off on the field to show himself, he works with his head down, performs his duties clearly, and most importantly, puts the interests of the team first. Such a character is especially valuable for a defender, since every mistake on the defensive line is very expensive.
For information, the Citizens' next match will take place on an even bigger stage: Manchester City will face Real Madrid in the Champions League. That match will be another test for Khusanov: after Newcastle's away game, playing against one of the toughest opponents in European football will be a real status test.
