PSG head coach Luis Enrique shared his thoughts on the 3-0 victory against Chelsea in the Champions League Round of 16 second leg.
Enrique noted that the team played steadily and effectively on the field, moved accurately in counterattacks, and decided the match in their favor with three goals.
"We played consistently throughout the game. The return match was different - we played accurately in counter-attacks and scored three goals, solving the problem in the opposition," Enrique said.
According to him, it's difficult to control such matches because Chelsea relies on quick attacks. At the same time, PSG successfully controlled possession and, effectively utilizing counter-attacks, secured the victory.
"It's difficult to control in such games because Chelsea relies on quick attacks. It's not easy to control the ball, but we did it and effectively used counter-attacks. In the end, it was these factors that brought us victory," Enrique said.
Enrique says: this victory gives the team great confidence and a tactical advantage in the quarter-final match against the winner of the "Galatasaray" or "Liverpool2" pair.
