Luis Enrique, head coach of PSG, made a light humorous comment about the upcoming opponent in the semi-final of the UEFA Champions League.
The Paris club confidently defeated Liverpool with an aggregate score of 4:0 in the quarter-finals and advanced to the next stage.
Now PSG is waiting for the winner of the tie between Real Madrid and Bayern Munich.
When journalists asked him which opponent he would prefer in the semi-final, Enrique avoided giving a direct answer. According to him, such “choices” often lead to the opposite result.
With a smile, the coach said: “Real” or “Bayern”? Every time I choose one team, in the end I end up playing against the other one.
He also added that he plans to calmly watch the match in Paris with a cold drink.
“I will watch this match in Paris with a nice cold beer,” said Luis Enrique.
For reference, PSG is the current winner of the UEFA Champions League and is once again aiming to fight for first place, relying on its accumulated experience.
