Super League and Pro League clubs have been granted significant tax benefits

One of the important news in Uzbek football has been announced - now the tax burden for clubs participating in the Super League and Pro League has been significantly eased. This was officially announced in a presidential decree.

In accordance with the decree, a number of benefits were provided to football clubs within the framework of reforms aimed at "improving the mechanisms for financing the sports sector and widely involving business entities in the sphere." In particular, starting from April 2026, teams participating in these leagues are fully exempt from personal income tax.

Not limited to this, the social tax rate for clubs has also been sharply reduced - it is now only 1%. This will significantly ease the financial burden on clubs, allowing them to attract new players, improve infrastructure, and focus more on overall development.

According to experts, such concessions will serve to increase the economic stability of domestic football, attract private investment, and accelerate the transition of clubs to an independent financial model.

In short, this decision could usher in a new era not only for clubs but for all of Uzbek football. Now the main question is: how effectively can clubs take advantage of this opportunity?
