Roma could bring in Mohamed Salah...

Liverpool winger Mohamed Salah could make a surprise return to Roma in the summer transfer window, according to Gazzetta dello Sport. The Italian club are reportedly considering offering the 33-year-old Egypt international a one-year deal as he prepares to leave Anfield at the end of the season.
The main stumbling block in any deal will be Salah's salary. He currently earns around €12m a year before tax at Liverpool, while Roma have set a cap of €4m on his salary. This means the former Roma striker would have to take a significant pay cut if he wants to return to the Serie A club.
Salah previously enjoyed a prolific spell at Roma, scoring 34 goals in 83 appearances for the club. His previous success in the Italian capital could make a reunion attractive for both sides, especially as the club look for experienced attacking options.
Meanwhile, interest in Salah has also been shown in Saudi Arabia. Al-Ittihad and Al-Qadisiyah are reportedly willing to meet his financial demands, which could make them stronger contenders if money becomes a deciding factor in his next move.
