Liverpool captain and leader Virgil van Dijk openly spoke about the defeat against Manchester City in the quarterfinal of the English Cup. According to him, this major unsuccessful result affected him not only psychologically but also in his actions on the field.
“Accepting this defeat is very, very difficult. Being on the field is even harder. It was a day I never expected, and it turned out extremely tough. I apologize to the fans,” said Virgil van Dijk.
