Laporta complains to UEFA over refereeing decisions

Barcelona president Joan Laporta has directly contacted the UEFA leadership following the Champions League quarter-final matches against Atletico Madrid, according to a report by Mundo Deportivo.
According to sources, Laporta spoke with UEFA President Aleksander Čeferin via telephone to express his strong dissatisfaction with the refereeing decisions during the matches.
The head of the Catalan club emphasized that several controversial episodes during the two legs against Atletico (1:2, 2:0) were resolved against the club's interests.
It was also reported that Laporta personally met with UEFA General Secretary Theodor Theodoridis and his assistant Giorgio Marchetti during the halftime of the second leg. During this conversation, he criticized referee Clément Turpin's decisions in the first half.
Specifically, the main objections included the failure to award a penalty for a foul on Dani Olmo and an overlooked incident involving Juan Musso against Fermin Lopez.
Laporta also repeatedly criticized the decisions of Istvan Kovacs, who officiated the first match.
Furthermore, he expressed sharp indignation over UEFA's refusal to accept Barcelona's official complaint regarding Marc Pubill's handball situation.
UEFA has not yet issued an official response to these statements, but the situation is further heating up discussions in European football.
