Ryerson equals Beckenbauer's 50-year record

Currently, only two defenders have more assists than Ryerson in the league, and he has three games left to potentially break the record. Internationally, he ranks second among defenders in Europe's top leagues, trailing only Federico Dimarco of Inter, who holds the record with 18 assists.

Currently, only two defenders in the Bundesliga have shown a better result than Ryerson. These are Jorginho with 14 assists (1991/92) and Alejandro Grimaldo with 15 assists (2023/24).
The Norwegian player has three more matches to break this record.
On the international stage, Ryerson also holds second place among defenders in the top five championships. He is surpassed only by Inter member Federico Dimarco, who broke the Italian Serie A record with 18 assists.
