One of the most prestigious competitions in European football, the UEFA Champions League, is reaching its decisive stage in the semi-finals. Ahead of the second leg, PSG head coach Luis Enrike shared his thoughts.
The specialist emphasized that the team is heading to the match in Munich with a clear plan and high confidence. He openly stated that he had even discussed the number of goals to be scored with his assistants:
— I asked my assistants how many goals we need to score in Munich. We concluded that three goals would be enough, — Enrike said.
At the same time, he noted that the stadium in Munich holds special significance for the Parisians. According to him, it was on this very pitch that the team secured its first Champions League victory in history, a fact that provides additional motivation for the players.
Naturally, Bayern will play in front of their own fans, which is considered a significant advantage for them. However, Enrike specifically noted that his team's morale is also at a high level:
— They are playing at home, but our mindset remains unchanged. We are going there only for a victory, — the Parisian coach expressed with confidence.
As a reminder, in the first leg, PSG defeated Bayern 5-4 at home and holds a slight advantage ahead of the return match.
In short, all eyes are on the decisive clash in Munich. Enrike's team plans to consolidate the result through attacking play — and this match is expected to turn into another dramatic night.
