Joe Cole advises Chelsea board to sign Robert Lewandowski and John Stones

Chelsea legend Joe Cole has urged the club's hierarchy to abandon their policy of focusing exclusively on young players and instead recruit experienced stars. He believes the current squad lacks the leaders necessary to guide the youth, which is negatively impacting results on the pitch. This is reported by Goal.com reporting .
Cole recalled that during the Roman Abramovich era, Chelsea competed for trophies by assembling the world's best players. Currently, the club lacks a clear direction in its transfer policy, and young talents are failing to reach their full potential without experienced mentors.
The former player suggested signing Manchester City defender John Stones and Barcelona striker Robert Lewandowski to strengthen the team. He emphasized that such experienced performers could stabilize Chelsea's defense and mentor the young attackers.
Cole likened the current Chelsea squad to a "group of talented students without a good teacher." According to him, the team desperately needs players who can deliver immediate results and provide leadership on the pitch.
