Tottenham midfielder Dejan Kulusevski has been left out of Sweden's World Cup squad due to a long-term knee injury. The 26-year-old has been sidelined since suffering a serious injury in a match against Crystal Palace in May 2025. This is reported by Goal.com .
Sweden head coach Graham Potter has confirmed the final 26-man squad. Although Kulusevski underwent his rehabilitation abroad, he was unable to return to full training. Tottenham manager Roberto De Zerbi had previously noted that it would be difficult for the player to participate in the tournament, given that he has not played a single match this season.
The Swedish squad includes other Premier League stars, notably Arsenal striker Viktor Gyokeres and Liverpool representative Alexander Isak. Tottenham's young talent Lucas Bergvall will also travel to the USA with the national team.
