Asian Championship: Ten of our boxers secure spots in the final

The semi-final bouts at the Asian Junior Boxing Championship turned into a triumphant march for our national representatives. Our masters of the ring defeated their opponents in almost all weight categories, continuing their quest for gold medals.
Absolute dominance in the lighter weight classes
From the very first minutes of the competition, the students of the Uzbek boxing school proved they are the masters of the ring:
-46 kg: Abdulloh Nuraliyev secured a confident 5:0 victory against India's Nella Kumar with his fast and precise punches.
48 kg: Kamronbek Bahodirov ended his bout against Jordan's Salte Alhadadi early. Unable to withstand the pressure, his opponent was defeated by technical knockout in the second round.
-52 kg: Oybek Alimjonov maintained full control of the fight against Iran's Abolfazl Malek, winning by a unanimous decision (5:0).
-54 kg: Abdulbosit Yursinboyev also prevailed in an exciting fight against India's Pal Nivesh, securing a spot in the final (5:0).
A show of "technical knockouts" and resilient victories
Our representatives also provided a real celebration for fans in the middle and heavy weight categories:
-60 kg: Ahmadxon Abdusattorov defeated his Kyrgyz opponent Erbol Baratoxunov with a score of 4:1.
-63 kg: Rushen Saydullayev forced a technical knockout against Mongolia's Battamuulen Batbold in the third round, ending the fight early.
-66 kg: Bahodir Xoliqulov showed he was a cut above Turkmenistan's Yunus Masharipov, advancing to the final with a 5:0 score.
-70 kg: In the most exciting fight of the day, Abduvohid Abdumajidov showed true grit against India's Naman Kumar. After two even rounds, he shifted the momentum in the decisive moments to secure a hard-fought 3:2 victory.
Bouts ended early
The final chords of the semi-finals also rang out with the "Uzbek voice":
-75 kg: Marufjon Toshpulatov put Kyrgyzstan's Nurtilek Jorobayev in a difficult position three times before the second round, forcing the referee to stop the fight.
-80 kg: Samandarbek Umarov also kept with tradition, ending the day on a high note by defeating Kyrgyzstan's Amirxan Kurmanbekov via a third-round technical knockout.
Thus, members of the Uzbekistan junior national team have secured ten spots in the Asian Championship final. We wish our boxers great success in the upcoming final bouts!
