Nowadays, I closely watch the games of Harry Kane and Robert Lewandowski, and I draw more inspiration from Kane, especially because of his experience in the English Premier League."
This season, Joao Pedro has made 48 appearances for Chelsea, scoring 20 goals and providing 9 assists. He considers himself a modern forward who not only scores goals but also links up the team play. In his opinion, combining the ability to build play and score goals, just like Kane, is the key to success.
Touching on the comparisons with Didier Drogba, Pedro said: "Drogba is a true idol for Chelsea. Fans sometimes call me the 'new Drogba', but I want to follow my own path and write my own history without feeling extra pressure."
