RB Leipzig's young star Yan Diomande has announced he will remain at the German club despite interest from Liverpool. The talented forward, who had a brilliant debut season in the Bundesliga, has decided to continue his development at the Red Bull Arena. This is reported by Goal.com reports .
The 19-year-old Ivorian footballer emphasized that he has a contract until 2030 and that participating in the Champions League is important to him. In an interview with Kicker, he said he is currently focused only on his games in Leipzig and feels happy at the club.
Diomande was named Bundesliga 'Rookie of the Season' for the 2025/26 campaign. He managed to beat Luka Vuskovic and Ibrahim Maza in the race for this award.
The young player has become the leader of the team's attack this season, recording 12 goals and 8 assists. His hard work on the pitch and technical skills are also highly praised by coach Ole Werner.
