Uzbek riders win 8 medals in Astana

Prestigious international equestrian competitions were held in Astana, Kazakhstan. Representing Uzbekistan, our team achieved brilliant results in the events organized as part of the World Cup, proudly defending the honor of our country.
The competition program featured two key equestrian disciplines: the CSI1*-W tournament for show jumping and the CDI1* and CDI3* levels for dressage. These events require not only skill from the participants but also precision, patience, harmony with the horse, and a high level of preparation.
According to the Ministry of Sports press service, the Uzbekistan team won a total of 8 medals during the events held from May 29-31. Of these, 7 were gold and 1 was silver. This result is considered a major achievement for national equestrian sports.
In particular, winning 7 gold medals demonstrates how superior the Uzbek riders were compared to their rivals in Astana. Achieving such results on the international stage is not easy, as every movement, turn, and jump is decisive in equestrian sports.
In show jumping, the athlete and the horse must act as a single team. Clearing obstacles accurately, quickly, and without faults requires great skill. In dressage, elegance, discipline, harmony of movement, and the culture of horsemanship take center stage. The Uzbek representatives demonstrated a high level in both disciplines.
This success is important not only for the number of medals but also for the growing reputation of Uzbek equestrian sports on the international stage. Victories in such tournaments provide additional confidence to athletes and serve as great motivation for young riders.
The performance of the Uzbekistan team in Astana showed that the attention and preparation given to equestrian sports in our country are yielding results. Athletes, coaches, and specialists work for a long time to consistently achieve high results in international competitions. These medals are a worthy reward for that effort.
The 7 gold and 1 silver medals won in Astana were joyful news for our country's sports community. Our riders once again proved that they are capable of raising the flag of Uzbekistan high in international arenas.
Now the main task is to consolidate this result and maintain consistent performance in future competitions. While one victory brings joy, consistent success creates a legacy. The Uzbek equestrian team has taken a confident step toward such major goals in Astana.
