A new Intel Core i9-15900K has appeared in Geekbench, but its core and thread count match Core i9-14900K, suggesting it is misidentified engineering sample.

The processor has 24 cores, 32 threads, 8 MB L2 and 36 MB L3 cache. It uses LGA 1700 socket and belongs to Raptor Lake or Raptor Lake Refresh, rather than 15th-gen Arrow Lake.
Geekbench test results were disappointing:
Single-core score – 2279
Multi-core score – 11690
This is significantly lower than Core i9-14900K (~3000 and 20000). Additionally, 15900K has lower clock speeds: base – 800 MHz, Boost – 4.8 GHz, while 14900K reaches 5.8 GHz Boost.
The test was conducted on JGINYUE B760I Snow Dream motherboard. Intel is not planning a 15000 series, this is simply a misidentified Core Ultra 2 chip. Read 'Zamin' on Telegram!
